There’s a Way the Body Speaks
muscle memory
that keeps, like scratch on
record, torque repeats
corporeal beats—stuck in head
limbs without lyrics
tread instead on pulse thread
where measures stretch years
none may touch it—self strung

from too-tight thews as bow rests and
chorus kneels in pews
when pain comes, the body listens
visceral—morse code
when pain goes, tinnitus sings
clock still tuning until—
