1 The Examined Life
It was one of those tests
you couldn’t really study for.
All you could do was move on
to the next question.
2 Hiroshima Is Everywhere
Gulls flutter down
toward lake-like puddles
in the parking lot –
the leaflets dropped
on Hiroshima
before the A-bomb.
3 Suicide Bridge
There’s something blue there, and it’s beautiful,
waiting to be discovered before it disappears.
There are so many next questions, bewildering road ahead. Thank you for this poem.
