You Have to Look Through
God comes into my bedroom
and stands there, looking at me.
I look back.
Neither of us will look away.
Ever.
“So you have to look through God all the time,”
my friend says, after I’ve told him. “Must be hard
to see anything at all.”
“I don’t know,” I say, looking at my friend,
who looks back at me, also believing.
“Are you looking at God right now?” he asks.
“Yes,” I say. “Directly.”
LOVE this, Glenn…It resonated beautifully…

I think we have similar beliefs about what God IS.
I love your poetry.
