Diane Puterbaugh was raised in Elmira, New York, but has spent adulthood in the South, where regretfully she can not find good bagels. A daily meditator and occasional marathoner, Diane currently lives in Jackson, TN and enjoys being statistically insignificant except to her dog.
Now and Again
Years sit as
First chairs in a
Perennial orchestra
An unopened card
Stiff as bones
Creases wishes
Candles burn in a
Nervous breakdown
Of déjà vu
The clock sighs
Adamant not everything
Chime a testimonial
Let’s raise a glass
We’ll toast to our friends
Now and Again
Lovely images! Lovely poem!
